Q: What can I check if my awning doesn’t extend or retract?
A: Verify 15amp DC fuse in position # 9 has continuity (not blown).
Q: What can I do when I press the awning switch and it goes the opposite direction intended?
A: The awning motor will continue as long as the switch I depressed. What likely happened is when
extending the awning the switch was held past the full extension of the awning and it started to
roll-up backwards. All you need to do is hold the switch in the opposite direction until the awning
is fully extended and ensure it is rolling up correctly. See video here
Q: What can I do if I discover a pinhole in the awning fabric?
A: If the hole is 1/8” or smaller it can be repaired. See here for instructions See video here
Q: Can I adjust the pitch of the awning so moisture will roll off the side?
A: Yes, by pulling down on the pitch arm hinge. See page 5 of manual.
Q: Can I manually operate my awning?
A: Yes, using a 7/16” socket and drill. See page 6 of manual. See video here
